I think your article was very good. I just thought of the those two points as being especially bad because of the number of potential customers you could lose without them ever seeing your content.

One other tip I would suggest would be to make sure any links you have still work. It just looks bad when the first two or three links you click on are dead ends.

Good points. I especially like numbers 2 & 3. Nothing kills interest faster than site that is slow and unresponsive. Add in cheap looking visuals and poor audio and you have a recipe for disaster.

Nice article Chad. Especially with Internet marketing products it’s extremely useful to offer some bonuses. That’s because there are so many products out there promising to help you in some way that a bonus is a nice way to set yourself apart.

Hey Matt – are you referring to the Tarahumara Pinole & Chia Recipe Book? Because I was really digging that sales page when I first saw it… in fact, I came within inches of buying, but had to hold back because I had just bought my wife Veganomicon and a Veggie cookbook. But I sent the page to a few friends who have read “Born to Run”… great stuff!

I definitely have a few suggestions for improving the page a bit – but nothing crazy, just some simple ideas that would be worth trying out. I’ll toss ya a quick email and we’ll go back and forth there.

Great stuff here, Chad. I recently made my first real sales page for a digital product, and I’m working on adding all of these aspects to the offer.

I really like the tip about partnerships; that’s one I’ve seen others do a lot but never even considered doing it for my product. Wheels are turning…

By the way, do you do any sort of consulting (i.e. helping optimize a sales page)?
